About this sound

A short creepy sound effect labeled "never forgive me," used in horror edits, ominous reveals and suspenseful meme clips to make moments feel darker.

This clip is a brief horror-style sound effect with an eerie, unsettling tone and a dramatic feel. The "never forgive me" label suggests guilt, dread or a looming consequence, so creators often use it when a video cuts to something cursed, shocking or emotionally heavy. It works best as a tension builder rather than a loud jump scare, adding a cold, cinematic mood that makes viewers expect something bad to happen next. The short length also makes it easy to place under reaction cuts, dark jokes or spooky transitions without overwhelming the rest of the edit.

There is no widely confirmed public origin for this exact clip based on the available details, so it is best described by how people use it online. It appears as a short scary sound effect in user-made soundboards and meme edits, where creators use it to signal dread, regret or an ominous turn. Its appeal comes from being brief, easy to place and effective in horror-themed videos. It fills a similar editing role to a dun dun dunnnnnnnn style sting when a scene needs sudden suspense.
