About this sound

The quick shouted “Parkour” meme sound, best known from The Office, used to punch up jump cuts, clumsy stunts and overdramatic action edits.

This clip is the sharp, single-word shout “Parkour,” delivered with instant, exaggerated confidence. It is very short and hits like a comedic button, making even a tiny hop, trip or awkward climb feel absurdly epic. The sound works because it turns low-stakes movement into fake action-movie drama in less than a second. Viewers instantly read the joke: someone is acting like a fearless free runner when the footage clearly does not deserve that level of hype.

This meme sound is commonly associated with The Office, where the word “Parkour!” was shouted during the show's famous parkour cold open. Clips from that scene spread widely online through short edits, reaction videos and meme compilations, especially when creators wanted to dramatize very unimpressive movement. Its staying power comes from how fast and recognizable it is: one word instantly signals overconfidence, chaos and a joke about treating normal actions like extreme sports.
