About this sound

Short 'Pare' clip from Brazilian TV host Rodrigo Faro, used in memes to abruptly stop a scene, cut off a joke, or react to chaos.

This sound is a very short burst of Rodrigo Faro saying “Pare,” the Portuguese word for “stop,” in his familiar TV-presenter style. It lands fast and clearly, so creators use it as a sharp interruption cue right when a clip gets too weird, too loud, or suddenly embarrassing. The delivery gives it a playful but commanding tone, making a moment feel instantly frozen or called out. Because the clip is so brief, it works well as a punchline button rather than a long reaction, especially in fast meme edits and Brazilian humor posts.

This meme sound comes from Brazilian TV personality Rodrigo Faro, whose expressive presenter style turned many short lines into reaction audio online. The clipped “Pare” spread in Brazilian meme edits, reposts, and chat shares as a quick way to halt a scene for comedic effect. Its staying power comes from how flexible it is: creators can use it for cringe, chaos, near-mistakes, or sudden reversals. It often appears alongside other Brazilian reaction clips and short TV-derived audio in fast-paced social posts.
