About this sound

The clipped quote "No Zaku, boy. No Zaku" from Gundam, used in memes and edits as a sharp anime-style rejection or correction.

This sound is a short spoken anime quote delivered with a firm, dismissive tone: "No Zaku, boy. No Zaku." The line is clipped tightly, so the emphasis lands hard on the repeated "No Zaku," making it feel abrupt, stubborn, and slightly funny out of context. In edits, that repetition gives the clip a strong punchline effect, especially when someone expects one thing and gets immediately shut down. It works well as a reaction sound for denials, corrections, and jokes about mech fans arguing over what they are seeing.

This quote is associated with Gundam fandom and the long-running popularity of Zaku as one of the franchise's most recognizable mobile suits. Short voice clips like this spread through anime forums, soundboards, and reaction edits because the delivery is so direct and easy to drop into jokes. It remains useful online because even people who do not know the full scene can understand the basic emotion instantly: a blunt correction, a denial, or a nerdy callout about getting the mech wrong.
