About this sound

The classic Mr Blobby clip featuring his chaotic 'blobby blobby blobby' voice from British TV, used in memes, absurd edits and nostalgic reaction posts.

This sound is the unmistakable Mr Blobby voice clip, with the character’s goofy, high-energy 'blobby blobby blobby' chant delivered in a loud, chaotic burst. It has a silly, slightly manic tone that instantly turns a clip into something more absurd and unpredictable. Because the voice is so distinctive and over-the-top, creators use it to underline visual nonsense, awkward moments, or pure retro British weirdness. Even a short burst of it can make an edit feel more surreal, childish, and intentionally ridiculous in a way viewers recognise straight away.

Mr Blobby is a character from British television, best known from Noel's House Party in the 1990s. His garbled 'blobby blobby blobby' voice became the whole joke: loud, childish, and instantly recognisable. The sound has lived on online because it captures a very specific kind of chaotic nonsense in just a few seconds. It still appears in meme edits, retro TV compilations, and reaction posts where creators want something deliberately ridiculous rather than a normal punchline.
