About this sound

A cartoon birds chirping knockout sound from Chip 'N' Dale's Nutty Tales, used in fail edits and dazed reaction clips after a hit or wipeout.

This clip plays the classic cartoon idea of being knocked silly, with light birds chirping circling over a character after impact. It comes from the Chip 'N' Dale's Nutty Tales short "Tree's a Crowd" and has a playful, harmless tone rather than a harsh crash. The sound suggests dizziness, stars, and temporary confusion in an instantly recognizable way. In edits, it works well when someone bonks their head, falls over, or zones out, turning a simple mishap into a more exaggerated slapstick moment.

The sound is identified as coming from the Chip 'N' Dale's Nutty Tales cartoon short "Tree's a Crowd," released on December 31, 2018. It uses a long-running animation gag: soft birds chirping to signal that a character has been knocked woozy. Because that idea is so familiar across cartoons, creators still use this clip in modern edits to make bumps, crashes, and dizzy reactions feel more playful than painful. Its appeal is the clear visual cue it creates, even when listeners hear it without context.
