About this sound

An eight-second fairground motor sound credited to Kirmes Jingle 22, used for carnival ride edits, mechanical transitions, and amusement clips.

This sound captures roughly eight seconds of a running motor associated with a Kirmes, the German term for a fair or carnival. Its steady mechanical texture suggests powered amusement equipment, making it useful when a ride starts, machinery engages, or a fairground scene becomes active. Unlike a sharp impact effect, the sustained noise creates a brief sense of motion and operation. It can add an industrial edge to visual cuts while also helping viewers imagine the vibration, movement, and busy atmosphere surrounding carnival rides.

The clip’s embedded metadata names it “Motor Geräusch,” German for motor noise, and credits Kirmes Jingle 22. Kirmes commonly refers to a German fair or carnival, so the labeling connects the recording with fairground machinery or ride-themed audio. No specific attraction, manufacturer, recording date, or original release platform is identified. Online, a compact mechanical clip like this remains useful because it quickly establishes movement, powered equipment, or carnival atmosphere without requiring a longer ambient recording.
