About this sound

The famous Yoshikage Kira monologue from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, used in anime edits, meme posts and dramatic character intro clips.

This clip features Yoshikage Kira's calm self introduction, delivered in a polite, unnervingly precise tone. The speech is long enough to build tension as he lists personal details in a flat, controlled way that makes the character sound even more unsettling. It is the kind of audio people use when they want a composed villain vibe rather than a loud reaction. On screen, it works best when the contrast between the ordinary words and the eerie confidence is what makes viewers laugh, recognize the reference, or feel uneasy.

This monologue is associated with Yoshikage Kira from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, the Part 4 arc of Hirohiko Araki's series. The speech became widely shared online because of its oddly formal wording, memorable rhythm, and the contrast between an ordinary self introduction and a dangerous villain. Fans spread it through anime clips, subtitles, remixes, and copypasta posts, and it remains popular in character edits and JoJo reference memes.
