About this sound

The famous rero rero cherry-licking sound from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, used in anime memes, awkward edits and bizarre reaction clips.

This clip is the recognizable rero rero sound from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the odd tongue-rolling noise made while licking a cherry. It has a fast, wet, repetitive rhythm that instantly feels weird, playful and slightly unsettling. In edits, it usually lands as a punchline for strange behavior, exaggerated close-ups or moments that suddenly turn uncomfortable. Even without dialogue, the sound is memorable enough that anime fans identify it right away, and its sheer absurdity makes ordinary footage feel much more bizarre.

This sound comes from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and is closely associated with Noriaki Kakyoin's cherry scene, where the repeated rero rero noise became instantly memorable among anime fans. The clip spread through anime meme pages, reaction videos and short edits because it is so distinctive without needing any extra context. It is still used as a shorthand for weird, uncomfortable or hilariously offbeat moments, much like other recognizable JoJo audio such as To be Continued (jojo).
