About this sound

A satirical voice clip saying, “Hold your fire, this man isn't Black,” used in reaction memes to expose bias, hypocrisy, or an absurd double standard.

This short dialogue clip features an urgent male voice ordering others to hold their fire before bluntly explaining that the targeted man is not Black. The sudden pause and openly prejudiced reasoning create a darkly comic reversal, making the line land as both satire and shock humor. In edits, it works as a sharp reaction to selective outrage, unfair enforcement, obvious favoritism, or someone escaping consequences for an absurd reason. The forceful delivery gives the audio an immediate, scene-stopping quality that can turn an ordinary setup into pointed social commentary.

The quote circulates online as a dark satire reaction clip, usually detached from its original scene and paired with footage involving selective treatment or unequal consequences. Its spread has been driven by short meme edits, captioned videos, gaming clips, and social media replies. The audio remains recognizable because its urgent opening sounds like a conventional action-scene command, while the explanation abruptly exposes the prejudice behind it. That contrast gives creators a concise punchline for criticizing hypocrisy and racial bias through deliberately uncomfortable humor.
