About this sound

A creepy choir waltz clip used in Haachama horror memes, taken from PeriTune's "ChoirWaltz" and dropped into cursed edits and sudden tone shifts.

This sound is a short excerpt of a dark, music-box-like choir waltz often associated with Haachama's unsettling meme edits and horror-style moments. It has a theatrical, fairytale-gone-wrong feel, with choral textures and a slow, eerie swing that makes ordinary footage feel instantly cursed. Because the clip is brief and recognizable, creators use it to signal that a video is about to get weird, glitchy or disturbing. It works especially well when a cheerful setup suddenly turns ominous, giving viewers that familiar mix of dread and absurd humor.

This clip is widely recognized online as the Haachama scary background music, but the underlying track is the royalty-free piece ChoirWaltz by PeriTune. It became tied to Haachama through fan edits, horror compilations and VTuber meme videos that used the song to mark a sudden shift from cute or chaotic to genuinely eerie. Its staying power comes from that contrast: the waltz rhythm sounds almost playful at first, while the choir gives it a disturbing edge that suits ironic horror editing.
