About this sound

A loud Five Nights at Freddy's scream used in jump scare clips, horror memes and gaming edits when you want a sudden panic moment.

This sound is a sharp, distorted horror scream associated with Five Nights at Freddy's jump scares. It hits fast, stays loud, and has that sudden burst of static-like intensity that makes a clip feel chaotic and threatening. People use it when a character appears out of nowhere, a game goes wrong, or a video needs an instant scare cue. Even out of context, it signals danger right away, so viewers expect a crash, a fail, or a deliberately over-the-top horror moment the second it starts.

This scream is tied to the Five Nights at Freddy's horror game series, which began in 2014 and became famous for tense security camera gameplay and sudden animatronic attacks. Online, creators often label similar clips as a FNaF Jumpscare Scream because the franchise helped define that loud, instant shock style. The sound spread through YouTube gaming videos, reaction edits, and short-form meme posts, where it is still used as a quick shorthand for fear, surprise, or a deliberately exaggerated scare.
