About this sound

The iconic 'Exotic Butters' voice clip from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, often used in memes, random reveals and absurd reward jokes.

This short clip is the famous 'Exotic Butters' line heard in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. It is delivered in a bright, slightly robotic announcer voice, which makes the phrase sound far more dramatic than the joke deserves. That contrast is what makes it land so well. The sound feels goofy, sudden and weirdly triumphant, so creators use it when revealing something useless, celebrating a ridiculous prize, or undercutting a serious moment with a very specific punchline.

The line comes from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, released in 2016, where it appears as a comedic reward moment. Fans quickly clipped the announcer saying 'Exotic Butters,' and the audio spread through gaming memes, remixes, and reaction edits. Its popularity comes from how oddly specific the phrase is and how formally it is delivered. Years later, it is still used whenever someone wants a fake grand prize, a bizarre reveal, or a joke that turns suspense into nonsense.
