About this sound

The DK theme song is a short music excerpt from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, used in car edits, racing clips, and drift reveal memes.

The DK theme song is a compact excerpt associated with the street-racing style of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Its rhythmic vocal hook and driving beat create an immediate sense of speed, confidence, and controlled chaos. Creators often use the clip to turn a simple corner, parking maneuver, or vehicle reveal into a cinematic drift sequence. The music also works as a humorous contrast when an ordinary object slides unexpectedly, giving even a minor movement the exaggerated attitude of an underground racing scene.

The clip is associated with “Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious),” performed by the Japanese hip-hop group Teriyaki Boyz for the 2006 film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. The song became closely identified with drifting culture through the movie’s racing scenes and distinctive hook. It later spread through car videos, gaming edits, short-form memes, and parody clips featuring anything that slides sideways. Its connection to the film and instantly recognizable rhythm keeps it popular for energetic racing content.
