About this sound

A drawn-out auughhh snoring meme sound used in goofy reaction edits, sleeping jokes and awkward fail clips when someone looks bored or half-asleep.

This clip is a short meme-style snoring sound built around a stretched, groaning "auughhh" vocal noise. It has an exaggerated, sleepy tone that feels more cartoonish than realistic, which is why it works so well in reaction edits and low-energy comedy posts. Creators usually drop it over someone dozing off, losing interest, zoning out or giving up mid-scene. The sound instantly makes a moment feel dumber, more awkward and more playful, especially when the visuals cut to a blank stare, slumped posture or a sudden collapse into fake sleep.

The exact original source of this auughhh snoring meme clip is unclear, but it circulates widely in short-form meme edits, reaction videos and repost compilations. Online, people use it as a stylized sleep sound rather than a natural snore, usually to signal boredom, exhaustion or total disengagement. Its appeal comes from the exaggerated vocal delivery, which makes even simple visual jokes land harder. It is often grouped with other goofy reaction sounds such as goofy ahh sounds and snore mimimimimimi in meme soundboards and edit packs.
