About this sound

The Ghost Host says “Ah, there you are” during Disney’s Haunted Mansion finale, a spooky reaction clip for reveals, entrances, and sudden discoveries.

This brief voice clip features the Ghost Host greeting listeners with a drawn-out “Ahhh” before saying, “there you are.” His deep, theatrical delivery combines relief with an eerie sense that someone has been watching and waiting. Taken from the Haunted Mansion attraction, the line carries the playful menace associated with its supernatural narrator. It works as a reaction to someone finally appearing, an object being found, or a hidden detail being revealed. The pause and ghostly tone make even an ordinary discovery feel suspicious, dramatic, and slightly haunted.

The line comes from the Ghost Host narration heard near the finale of Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction. The original Disneyland ride opened in 1969, with actor Paul Frees providing the Ghost Host’s distinctive voice. During the attraction’s closing sequence, the narrator warns guests about hitchhiking ghosts before they encounter spectral passengers in mirrors. Short extracts of the greeting later circulated online as reaction audio because its wording fits reveals and searches, while the ominous performance adds a recognizable Haunted Mansion mood to otherwise ordinary discoveries.
