About this sound

The German Pokémon intro clip with the famous 'Schnapp sie dir!' line from the German theme song. Fans use it in memes, edits and nostalgia videos.

This clip is a short excerpt from the German-language intro theme of the Pokémon anime, built around the rallying cry 'Schnapp sie dir!' — the German version of 'Gotta catch 'em all!'. It carries the punchy, heroic energy of a late-nineties cartoon theme: bright sung melody, driving rhythm and a shouted tagline that lands like a battle order. Hearing it instantly takes German-speaking fans back to Saturday-morning television, turning any edit into a rush of childhood nostalgia and competitive collecting spirit.

The clip comes from the German-language intro of the Pokémon anime, where the franchise's global slogan 'Gotta catch 'em all!' was localised as 'Schnapp sie dir!'. The German dub brought the show to German-speaking television in the late 1990s, and its theme song — tagline included — became one of the most quoted lines of that era's children's TV. Decades later, fans still drop the phrase into memes, reaction clips and nostalgia edits whenever anything needs to be caught, collected or won.
