Sobre este som

The classic underground theme from Super Mario Bros., used in gaming edits, retro memes and nostalgic clips when a scene needs an 8-bit sneaky vibe.

This sound is the familiar underground music cue from Super Mario Bros., the looping 8-bit track that plays in the game's cave and underworld sections. It has a bouncy but slightly tense chiptune feel, with a playful bassline that instantly signals exploration, secrets and classic Nintendo nostalgia. Even in a short clip, it gives footage an old-school game mood and makes ordinary moments feel like a hidden level, a challenge room or a quiet setup before something funny or difficult happens.

The underground theme comes from the original Super Mario Bros., released by Nintendo for the NES in 1985, with music composed by Koji Kondo. It became one of the most recognisable pieces of game music from the 8-bit era and spread far beyond the game through remixes, memes and retro gaming videos. Creators still use it because a few seconds instantly suggest caves, secret areas, side quests and classic platformer nostalgia, even for viewers who have never played the full game.
