Louis van Gaal's furious 'siempre negativa, nunca positiva' rant as Barça coach. The legendary press-conference clip for football memes and reaction edits.

This clip captures Louis van Gaal at full boil: the Dutch coach's gravelly voice rises as he scolds the press in Spanish, hammering the words 'siempre negativa, nunca positiva' with theatrical fury. Each syllable lands like a gavel strike, his accent thickening the delivery into something almost chant-like. It is equal parts rant and performance, so it lands on viewers as comedy — the ultimate sound of a man who has officially run out of patience. Drop it over any footage of criticism, bad news or doubters and the room instantly gets the joke.

Louis van Gaal managed FC Barcelona from 1997 to 2000, and his stormy relationship with the Spanish sports press became part of club folklore. During a press conference in the late 1990s he snapped at the assembled journalists, accusing them of covering his team with permanent negativity and shouting the line that made him immortal in Spain. Television sports shows replayed the outburst endlessly, and it hardened into a catchphrase quoted whenever the media is accused of bias. Today the rant lives on as a reaction sound on football meme pages, often dropped over crowd cheering in edit compilations.
