Thatcher's "fookin laser sights" voice line from Rainbow Six Siege. People use this clip in gaming edits, British meme posts, and tactical joke videos.

This sound is the famous Thatcher voice line ending with “fookin laser sights,” delivered in a gruff British accent. The clip is short, punchy, and instantly recognizable to Rainbow Six Siege players, with a clipped military tone that makes it sound both serious and unintentionally funny. It lands well as a reaction to overcomplicated gear, sweaty gameplay, or anything trying too hard to look tactical. The humor comes from the contrast between hardened operator delivery and the oddly memorable phrasing, which gives the line lasting meme value beyond the game itself.

The line comes from Thatcher, a British operator in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, released by Ubisoft in 2015. Players especially remember the full quote, “GPS satellites, unmanned drones, fookin laser sights,” because the delivery is so distinctive. Over time, the last part escaped the game and spread through gaming compilations, reaction edits, and short meme clips. It still shows up whenever creators joke about military tech, gadget overload, or the very specific tone of older Siege operator voice lines.
