This sound is the short victory jingle that plays when Sonic finishes an act in Sonic the Hedgehog. It opens with a bright, upbeat fanfare and ends with that unmistakable arcade-era sense of completion. Even though it is brief, it instantly signals success, progress, and a neat transition to the next moment. In edits, montages, and memes, it gives a clip the feeling of having passed a challenge, wrapped up a task, or unlocked a small but satisfying win.

This jingle comes from Sonic the Hedgehog, released by Sega in 1991 for the Genesis and Mega Drive. It is commonly known by players as the act clear theme because it plays after completing a stage section. The sound stayed memorable thanks to the huge popularity of early Sonic games and later uploads, remixes, and gameplay clips online. It still gets used because a few seconds of music can instantly communicate success, completion, and classic platform game nostalgia without any dialogue.
