A dramatic SCP-096 crying sound used in horror memes and reaction edits. It references the Shy Guy creature and fits sad, panicked or cursed moments.

This clip captures a distressed, almost unbearable crying moment associated with SCP-096, the eerie Shy Guy figure from SCP horror lore. The sound has a strained, emotional quality that feels somewhere between panicked sobbing and a meltdown, which makes it funny, unsettling and oddly relatable at the same time. Creators use it when a video needs exaggerated sadness, fear or mental collapse in a single beat. It works especially well as a reaction sound because viewers instantly read it as someone trying and failing to keep their emotions under control.

SCP-096, also known as the Shy Guy, comes from the SCP Foundation collaborative horror fiction project and became widely recognized through readings, animations, games and meme edits online. Audio tied to SCP-096 spread because the character is famous for extreme distress and violent panic once triggered, which makes the crying angle instantly understandable even outside hardcore SCP fandom. The clip remains popular in horror meme culture, especially alongside jumpy edits, exaggerated breakdown jokes and sounds like the FNAF Jumpscare Scream.
