A spoken meme clip about saying Squidward backwards as “Drawdiuqs,” referencing the SpongeBob character and used for wordplay, jokes, and reactions.

This extended spoken meme revolves around the challenge of saying Squidward’s name backward, producing the awkward-looking word “Drawdiuqs.” The humor comes from hearing someone work through an unfamiliar pronunciation based on a familiar SpongeBob character’s name. Its nearly 30-second length gives the setup and delivery room to unfold, making the clip feel more like a complete joke than a quick sound bite. For viewers, the strange reversed word creates a moment of confusion before the original name becomes clear, adding an absurd twist to SpongeBob-related edits and conversations.

Squidward Tentacles is a central character from SpongeBob SquarePants, the animated television series that premiered in 1999. “Drawdiuqs” is simply “Squidward” written in reverse, and the unusual result lends itself to pronunciation challenges and absurd internet humor. The clip’s exact recording origin is not established, but it circulates as SpongeBob-themed wordplay rather than dialogue from a confirmed episode. Related sounds such as the SpongeBob sad song and the “My leg!” fish remain popular because familiar characters and recurring jokes are easy to recognize in short edits.
