A sharp reaction clip of “Not today, Satan, not today,” popularized on TV and in memes for shutting down bad ideas, chaos or instant regret.

This sound is a short spoken reaction clip delivering the line “Not today, Satan, not today” with crisp, dismissive attitude. It lands like an instant refusal, mixing sarcasm, confidence and a little drama in just over two seconds. Creators use it when something goes wrong, when a terrible idea appears on screen, or when a person barely avoids disaster. The effect is funny because it turns a simple rejection into a memorable catchphrase that feels both theatrical and relatable.

The phrase “Not today, Satan” existed before memes, but it became especially recognizable in online culture after Bianca Del Rio used it on RuPaul's Drag Race. Short clips of the quote spread across reaction compilations, GIF culture and social posts because the wording is instantly clear and funny. It still works well years later because it fits so many situations: avoiding drama, refusing nonsense, or stopping an obvious mistake before it gets worse.
