The famous gangster-style quote from Home Alone, used as a funny holiday reaction sound for roasts, prank edits and Christmas meme videos.

This clip plays the classic line "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal" in a tough old gangster voice, followed by that unmistakable movie-style attitude people instantly recognize. It is short, sharp and funny, with a mock-threatening delivery that lands somewhere between festive and insulting. Creators use it when they want a Christmas joke to hit harder, especially in roast edits, holiday memes or prank reveals. Even without the full scene, the quote gives a nostalgic movie feel and adds instant comic timing to awkward, petty or playfully mean moments.

This quote is best known from Home Alone (1990), where Kevin McCallister watches the fake black-and-white gangster film Angels with Filthy Souls. The line became one of the most remembered Christmas movie quotes and spread far beyond the film through TV reruns, memes and holiday posts. It still shows up every December because it instantly signals Christmas nostalgia while also working as a playful insult. Online, it is often used in the same reaction-heavy way as The Simpsons - Nelson's HA-HA! for comedic timing.
