The Kyouko laugh from Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? Of The Dead, a short anime laugh sound effect used for reactions, edits and soundboard memes online.

This is Kyouko's distinctive laugh, a short, shrill burst that starts cute and quickly turns manic. The pitch rises and wavers as she cackles, giving it an unhinged, villain-like quality rather than a friendly giggle. At just over a second long, it lands like a punchline, instantly making a scene feel chaotic, smug or slightly deranged. Viewers recognize it as the moment a sweet anime character drops the act, which is why the laugh works so well as a reaction to reveals, betrayals or absurd twists.

The clip comes from Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? Of The Dead, the second season of the anime series that aired in 2012. Kyouko is a Masou-Shoujo antagonist known for switching between an innocent persona and a cruel, unstable one, and her laugh became a shorthand for that shift. Fans clipped the moment for soundboards and anime edits, where it spread as a reaction sound for crazy or evil girl characters beyond the original show.
