Short clip of a fan chanting Bill Self sucks, aimed at the Kansas Jayhawks basketball coach. Used as a rival fan reaction in sports edits and memes.

This is a brief, loud fan taunt directed at Kansas head coach Bill Self, delivered as a blunt three-word chant in a single breath. The voice is raw and arena-like, with no music or buildup, so the insult lands instantly and unmistakably. At just over a second long, it works like a verbal buzzer, cutting into a highlight or a bad play for comic effect. Rival supporters use it to mock a Kansas loss, a questionable call, or a frustrated coaching moment, turning a serious sports clip into a quick, partisan joke that opposing fans immediately understand.

Bill Self has coached the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team since 2003, winning NCAA national championships in 2008 and 2022 and building one of college basketball's most consistent programs. That success has also made him a favourite target for rival fan bases, especially Missouri, Kansas State and Kentucky supporters, whose chants and memes resurface every March Madness run. Short taunt clips like this one circulate on soundboards during the season, shared in group chats and edit timelines whenever Kansas struggles, Self argues a call, or a rival team pulls off an upset.
