The death scream from Rick Dangerous, the classic Amiga platform game, as the hero lets out a long WAAAUGH when he dies. Used for funny fails and edits.

The clip captures the moment Rick Dangerous dies in the old Amiga adventure, a single drawn-out shout that starts high and panicked before collapsing into a cartoonish wail. It is not a realistic scream, it sounds exaggerated and almost comical, like a hero who knows he has just walked into a trap he should have seen coming. That over-the-top delivery is what makes it land, turning a simple death into a punchline and giving an edit an instant sense of dramatic failure without needing any explanation.

Rick Dangerous is a platform game first released in 1989 for home computers including the Amiga, starring a whip-wielding adventurer who explores ancient temples filled with traps. Deaths were frequent and sudden, and the hero's loud, exaggerated cry became one of its most recognisable sounds for players who grew up with the game. Retro gaming fans later clipped it for edits and soundboards, where it now works as a shorthand for a classic game-over moment rather than just a single death in one level.
