이 사운드에 대하여

A long, exaggerated Mario falling scream associated with video game clips. Creators use it for failed jumps, sudden drops and comedic disaster edits.

This short clip features an extended “waaaaa” scream associated with Mario falling through the air. Its sustained pitch turns an ordinary drop into an exaggerated disaster, making the moment feel longer and more ridiculous than it really is. The sound works especially well when a character misses a platform, tumbles out of frame, or disappears into a pit. Because the cry continues for several seconds, viewers can anticipate the impact while the scene becomes progressively funnier. It is commonly treated as a gaming failure sound rather than dialogue.

The clip circulates online as a Mario-themed falling sound, usually attached to gameplay failures, animation edits, and videos where someone drops out of view. Its exact game installment is not identified by the available metadata, so it is best understood through its meme usage rather than a specific scene. Like the Roblox oof, it gives viewers an immediate audio cue that a game character has failed. The unusually long cry remains useful because editors can stretch a fall without needing additional dialogue.
