A brief Phone Guy call clip from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, used in gaming edits, lore videos, and jokes about ominous workplace instructions.

This short clip captures part of a Phone Guy recording from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. The voice resembles a routine workplace briefing, but its guarded delivery and the game's dangerous setting give it an uneasy undertone. Even without the full call, the compressed telephone quality immediately evokes the night-shift office and its prerecorded guidance. Creators use the audio to introduce suspicious instructions, reference FNaF lore, or turn an ordinary phone conversation into something ominous. Its brief length makes it especially effective as a setup before a scare, reveal, or abrupt cut.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 was released in 2014 and uses prerecorded telephone messages to guide the player through successive night shifts. Phone Guy, voiced by creator Scott Cawthon, provides instructions and background details while gradually revealing the restaurant's dangers. Excerpts from these calls spread through gameplay videos, lore discussions, animations, and fan edits. The contrast between calm advice and looming danger keeps the calls recognizable, especially when paired with security-camera footage or a FNAF Jumpscare Scream.
