このサウンドについて

A short clip of the opening note from Megalovania, the famous Undertale battle track, used for instant joke reveals, dramatic cuts and Sans memes.

This sound is just the instantly recognisable opening hit from Megalovania, trimmed down to a little over one second. Even on its own, that first note carries a sharp, dramatic punch that viewers associate with boss fights, sudden difficulty spikes and Sans-related jokes. It lands fast, feels tense and slightly chaotic, and works like a comedic warning siren for gamers. Because the clip is so brief, creators use it to interrupt calm moments, set up an incoming challenge or signal that a situation just became way more serious than expected.

Megalovania is a track by Toby Fox that became widely known through Undertale, released in 2015. The song is strongly associated with the Sans boss battle, and its opening note became a meme on its own across short edits, gaming clips and reaction videos. People use that single hit as a fast audio cue for danger, difficulty or an incoming joke that gamers will immediately recognise. Its staying power comes from how quickly it sets a dramatic tone without needing the full song.
