The Leeds are falling apart chant, sung by football fans mocking the club as its form collapses, used in match edits, football meme videos and reaction clips.

The clip captures a crowd chanting 'Leeds are falling apart' in a rhythmic, mocking sing-song, with voices rising and falling together like a terrace chorus. It is short, punchy and instantly recognisable to football fans, carrying the teasing energy of rival supporters celebrating a collapse in form. The repeated line lands like a taunt, building in confidence as the chant goes on, and it works because it feels live and unpolished rather than studio recorded. For a viewer, it immediately signals schadenfreude, banter and a team in trouble, setting up a joke about a bad result, a conceded goal or a season falling away.

Online, the phrase is used as a piece of football banter aimed at Leeds United, passed around in short clips, match edits and social posts whenever the club hits a poor run of results. The chant format makes it easy to reuse: it needs no context beyond the scoreline, and rival fans drop it into videos about defeats, relegation battles or late collapses. Its short length also suits quick reaction posts and meme edits, which is why it keeps circulating among football supporters long after any single game has been forgotten.
