このサウンドについて

Jill Valentine says “S.T.A.R.S.” in a short voice clip from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, used for gaming edits, character callbacks, and reactions.

This short voice line features Jill Valentine clearly saying “S.T.A.R.S.,” referencing the special police unit at the heart of Resident Evil’s Raccoon City story. The delivery is controlled but tense, with the crisp enunciation and dramatic pause of a classic survival-horror exchange. It works as a compact character cue: viewers immediately recognize Jill, the game’s ominous atmosphere, and the threat linked to that name. In edits, the line creates suspense or signals an unmistakable Resident Evil reference before a dramatic reveal.

The clip is identified as one of Jill Valentine’s voice lines from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, the survival-horror game originally released in 1999. Jill is a member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service, commonly abbreviated as S.T.A.R.S., while Nemesis is closely associated with hunting its surviving members. The abbreviation became one of the game’s most recognizable spoken cues. Short clips built around it remain useful in gaming videos, nostalgic edits, character tributes, and jokes referencing the franchise’s persistent antagonist.
