The stadium siren heard at Japan's national high school baseball tournament at Hanshin Koshien Stadium, used for game starts, endings and sports edits.

This is the long, wailing siren heard at Hanshin Koshien Stadium during Japan's national high school baseball championships. It rises slowly into a loud, sustained tone that echoes across the stadium before fading out, signalling the start and finish of play. The sound carries the weight of a ceremony rather than an alarm, building anticipation before the first pitch and marking a definitive end after the final out. For listeners familiar with summer baseball in Japan, it instantly brings to mind packed stands, brass bands, and the tradition surrounding the tournament.

Hanshin Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya opened in 1924 and became home to Japan's national high school baseball championships, held each spring and summer. Its siren became one of the tournament's most recognisable traditions, sounded to mark the beginning and end of games and heard in broadcasts across the country. As tournament highlights and baseball videos spread online, the recording was shared separately as a standalone clip, and creators now reuse it far beyond the stadium to give sports footage an official, ceremonial start or finish.
