A furious FSV Zwickau fan shouts the German insult Du Assi in this raw one-second stadium clip. Creators use it as a harsh reaction sound for fails and fouls.

This is a raw one-second stadium recording of an FSV Zwickau supporter losing his temper and barking the German insult Du Assi, roughly meaning you jerk. The voice is loud, hoarse and confrontational, straining over crowd noise, and it cuts off almost as abruptly as it begins. Because the outburst is so short and aggressive, it lands like a slap: listeners instantly feel the shock and anger of a fan snapping in the stands. Dropped into an edit, it turns any blunder, foul or irritating character into the target of genuine football-terrace fury.

The clip captures a supporter of FSV Zwickau, the German football club from Saxony, completely losing his temper in the stands and hurling the insult Du Assi at someone on or near the pitch. Short fan-outburst recordings like this one travel fast on German football forums, meme pages and soundboards, where a single shouted insult becomes a reusable reaction. Its appeal is the unfiltered terrace energy: no commentary, no buildup, just pure annoyance in one second. That rawness keeps it in rotation as a punchline for fails and heel moments.

What does 'Du Assi' mean?

'Du Assi' is German slang roughly meaning 'you jerk' or 'you asshole,' with 'Assi' short for 'asozial.' In this clip an angry FSV Zwickau football fan shouts it, so it carries the tone of a furious terrace insult rather than playful teasing.

Where is the 'Du Assi' sound from?

It comes from a short stadium recording of an FSV Zwickau supporter losing his temper and shouting the insult, published on a user-generated soundboard. The exact match and date are unknown, but the raw crowd atmosphere marks it as a genuine fan outburst.

How do creators use the 'Du Assi' sound?

Editors drop the one-second shout onto fails, fouls and rage-bait moments, usually at full volume with a hard cut and a zoom on the culprit. It works best as a sudden insult punchline and loses impact if stretched, softened or buried under music.
