The Occhiodian Benevolent Autocracy was founded on 24 May 2025 and has remained active since its establishment. Throughout its development, the nation has had three official names: the Republic of Occhiodia, the Enlightened Dictatorship of Occhiodia, and the current Occhiodian Benevolent Autocracy. The national flag has only undergone one minor change involving the coat of arms, while the overall identity and direction of the nation have remained consistent. The nation follows the ideology of Benevolent Autocracy, emphasizing stable leadership, national development, diplomacy, cultural growth, and the well-being of its citizens. The Head of State is 14 years old and takes micronational leadership seriously. Occhiodia has maintained positive diplomatic relations with other micronations and has never been involved in activities that would bring allied nations into disrepute. Occhiodia maintains an active online presence through projects and content such as "Day ... of Upgrading My Micronation" and "Occhiovision." The nation has developed numerous friendships and diplomatic relations within the micronational community, including positive relations with New Hope. Representatives of Occhiodia also intend to attend MicroCon 2027 in Aigues-Mortes. The government has undertaken various initiatives, including sending a formal letter regarding the neighbouring town of Frouard. In addition, France 3 has previously responded to our enquiries and indicated that they may return to the subject in the future. The territory of Occhiodia is located in Lorraine, France. It currently consists of a residential property, a neighbouring property, and an additional property approximately 30 kilometres away, which serves a role comparable to an overseas territory within our national framework. The total area is approximately 986 square metres and the nation currently has around 20 inhabitants. Occhiodia has developed a growing community and a distinct cultural identity. The nation maintains a presence on Microwiki and continues to expand its cultural and national projects. We are developing the Occhiodian language, which draws inspiration from French, English, Spanish, and other European languages. French, English, Spanish, German, and Occhiodian are all used within the nation. The Head of State holds the official title of Supreme Leader of the Occhiodian Benevolent Autocracy. The nation is divided into several internal states and regions: Oréante, Elbeyvenler, Apéroguay, Tipormany, Dragon State, United Flames, and Goviller. The Occhiodian language includes its own names for numerous countries and regions, reflecting our ongoing cultural and linguistic development. Examples include Belgia, Néholande, Bochland, Unitada Royauma, Spana, Norvej, Swede, Danmark, Rusland, Ukraina, and many others. Friendship, diplomacy, mutual assistance, and cultural development are among the core values of Occhiodia.
