The NBC Presents logo sound from NBC television, with a bright orchestral fanfare and chime. Creators use it to open parody news segments and mock TV intros.

The NBC Presents logo sound is the short musical ident that plays before NBC programmes, opening with a soft chime before swelling into a bright, confident orchestral fanfare. The melody feels polished and official, instantly signalling that a television broadcast is about to begin, which is why it lands so well in edited videos. When it plays, viewers expect something important, funny or dramatic to follow, and that contrast between a serious network introduction and an ordinary or absurd clip is what makes the joke work.

The NBC Presents ident comes from NBC, the American broadcast television network, whose polished logo sequences have introduced programmes for decades. As a short soundboard clip, it circulated online among creators who wanted an instantly recognisable television opening without filming a real broadcast. Its formal, newsroom feel makes it a convenient shorthand for authority and importance, so editors reuse it to frame jokes, announcements and fake segments as if they were part of a major network show.
