Michael Scott's classic "that's what she said" line from The Office, used to punctuate accidental double entendres and awkward joke setups.

This clip is Michael Scott delivering his signature "that's what she said" punchline from The Office in his quick, pleased deadpan. The line lands right after an unintended innuendo, turning an ordinary sentence into a crude joke with perfect sitcom timing. It is a short reaction sound that instantly changes the mood from normal conversation to childish office humor. Because the quote is so recognizable, it works as an easy comedic button for edits, memes, and group chat jokes where someone says something that can be taken the wrong way.

This quote is closely associated with Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, in the US version of The Office. The phrase existed earlier as a common joke format, but the show made it a mainstream reaction line for TV and internet culture. Short clips of Michael saying it spread through memes, GIFs, and soundboards because the timing is immediate and the meaning is instantly understood. It is still popular whenever a creator wants a familiar workplace-comedy reaction to accidental double meanings.
