James Rolfe as the Angry Video Game Nerd says elephant feces in this short clip, used by creators for disgusted reactions to gross or absurd game moments.

This one-second clip captures the Angry Video Game Nerd delivering the phrase elephant feces with flat, exasperated disgust, his voice dropping into a blunt, almost deadpan insult rather than a shout. The delivery is short enough to land instantly, and the crude, unexpected wording makes it funnier than a straightforward complaint. Listeners hear the weary frustration of a reviewer who has just encountered something truly revolting in a game, and that tone carries the joke even without the original footage. It works as a quick punchline, cutting through a scene with a single gross-out reaction that feels both juvenile and oddly satisfying.

The clip comes from the Angry Video Game Nerd, the long-running retro-game review persona created by James Rolfe, whose blunt, profanity-laced reactions to frustrating games became a staple of early online video culture. Short, quotable lines like this one were lifted by fans into soundboards and meme edits, where they could be reused without the original review. Its appeal has lasted because the insult is brief, memorable, and instantly readable as disgust, making it a handy shorthand for reacting to something gross, broken, or absurd in a new video.
