Andris Biedrins name announcement sound effect from NBA broadcasts, a short announcer callout of the Latvian center used in basketball edits and memes.

The clip is a clean two second announcer callout of the name Andris Biedrins, delivered in the flat professional tone of an NBA broadcast. There is no music or crowd swell behind it, just the name stated clearly and quickly before play continues. That brevity makes it feel oddly formal and funny out of context, turning an ordinary roster introduction into a punchline. Listeners familiar with the Golden State Warriors era recognise it instantly, while others hear a serious sports moment that can be dropped into any unrelated scene for contrast.

Andris Biedrins is a Latvian former center drafted eleventh overall by the Golden State Warriors in 2004, spending most of his NBA career there before a final season with the Utah Jazz. Announcer mentions of his distinctive name were clipped from broadcasts and later shared on soundboards and in edit communities. The clip survives less as a highlight than as a nostalgic reference to mid 2000s Warriors teams, reused by fans who remember his rebounding, shot blocking, and famously difficult free throw shooting.
