The Absol cry from the Pokémon anime is a short, sharp creature call used in battles, edits, and fan videos to announce the Disaster Pokémon.

This is the short anime cry of Absol, the Dark type Disaster Pokémon, lasting just over a second. It is a high, keening wail with a metallic edge, rising quickly and cutting off abruptly rather than fading away. The tone feels alert and ominous at the same time, matching Absol's lore as a Pokémon that appears before natural disasters. Played on its own it instantly signals danger approaching, which makes even a brief appearance feel dramatic and unsettling for viewers who recognise the species.

Absol was introduced in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire in 2002 as a Generation III Dark type known for sensing natural disasters with the horn on its head. It later appeared in the Pokémon anime, including a notable role connected to Jirachi Wish Maker, where its vocalisations were adapted from its game cry into a more expressive call. Fans share this short anime version for cry guessing games and edits, separating it from the more electronic cry heard in the main series games.
