關於此聲音

A blown-out, distorted Thomas meme sound popular in Japanese edits and shitposts, used when a scene suddenly turns loud, cursed or absurd.

This clip is the famous distorted Thomas meme often called Ongare Thomas or Oto Ware Thomas. It takes the familiar Thomas audio vibe and pushes it into harsh clipping, crackling distortion and an aggressively overdriven sound that feels chaotic on purpose. The result is funny because it turns something friendly and recognisable into a loud, cursed punchline. Creators use it to make a sudden reveal feel more unhinged, to exaggerate low-quality energy, or to make a simple visual gag hit much harder.

Ongare Thomas, written in Japanese as 音割れトーマス, is a long-running meme format built around heavily clipped Thomas audio. The name refers to blown-out or crackling sound, which is the whole joke. It spread through Japanese meme edits, reposts and short video compilations, then became a recognizable reaction sound for moments that suddenly feel cursed, loud or absurd. People still use it because the contrast is immediate: a familiar Thomas reference turns into deliberate audio destruction, making even simple edits feel more chaotic.
