This clip captures Vincent Price’s famous sinister laugh, best known from the ending of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. It starts as a controlled, theatrical chuckle and blooms into a rich, echoing cackle with a campy horror feel. The voice is smooth and unmistakable, sounding more playful than truly terrifying, which is why it works so well in memes as well as spooky edits. It gives a scene an instant haunted mood, adding old-school gothic flair, surprise villain energy, or a knowingly over-the-top Halloween punchline.

This laugh is widely recognized from Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the 1982 song and its landmark music video era, with Vincent Price providing the spoken horror cameo associated with the track. The laugh became a seasonal favorite in Halloween edits, radio stings, and spooky compilations because it blends genuine creepiness with theatrical fun.
