The Mr Bean ringtone is the iconic theme tune used as a phone alert, taken from the beloved classic British comedy series starring Rowan Atkinson.

This short clip captures the instantly recognisable Mr Bean theme, a light choral and orchestral piece that feels both grand and slightly ridiculous. The music swells with a choir singing in Latin style over playful strings, which creates a funny contrast with Bean's silent, clumsy character. Lasting under twenty seconds, it works perfectly as a ringtone because it is cheerful, distinctive and impossible to mistake for a generic alert. Hearing it immediately brings to mind Bean's awkward pauses, confused expressions and everyday disasters, turning an ordinary incoming call into a small comedy moment.

Mr Bean first aired in 1990, created by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis, with its theme composed by Howard Goodall. The choral piece, titled Ecce Homo, was performed with lyrics that translate to behold the man who is a bean, matching the show's mix of prestige and silliness. As mobile phones spread in the 2000s, the short, memorable melody became a popular novelty ringtone and was widely shared on soundboards and video edits, where it still signals awkward, silent comedy.
