A loud angry rage shout of 'Alo porra' from an old Messenger Plus clip, used for furious reactions, gaming meltdowns and over the top rant edits.

This is a raw, full volume outburst that lasts about ten seconds, built around an angry man shouting Alo porra in Portuguese with strained, furious delivery. The voice cracks with frustration, stays loud throughout and feels far bigger than the situation, which is exactly why it lands as comedy. There is no music or build up, just immediate rage that keeps escalating. Played over a calm face, a minor mistake or a trivial inconvenience, the contrast turns annoyance into a full meltdown and makes the reaction feel cartoonishly extreme.

The clip is tagged Alo porra and credited as created in Messenger Plus, the add on that let MSN Messenger users share short custom sounds in chats during the 2000s. Many of those brief voice clips later migrated to soundboards as reaction staples. This one survived because the anger is instant and universal, even for listeners who do not speak Portuguese. It sits alongside a short damn reaction or drawn out frustrated screams in edits, and is still used for rage quits, rant parodies and fake meltdowns online today.

What is the Rage sound?

This ten second clip is an angry man shouting Alo porra in Portuguese at full volume. Tagged from a Messenger Plus creation, it is used as an exaggerated rage reaction for gaming fails, bad news and minor problems made to look huge.

Where does the Rage sound come from?

The file credits read Created in Messenger Plus and give the title Alo porra. Messenger Plus was an add on for MSN Messenger that let users make and send short sound clips, many of which later spread widely across soundboard collections online.

How do creators use the Rage sound?

Creators place the shout at the exact moment someone snaps, loses or hears bad news. It works best trimmed short, played loud over a calm visual, and paired with a quick zoom or shake for a comic meltdown effect in edits.
