The short Jackass theme sting that introduces a prank or stunt, its brash rock riff signalling chaos is about to begin. Ideal for fails, dares and comedy edits.

This short clip is the instantly recognisable Jackass theme, a punchy burst of brash rock guitar and drums that feels reckless before anything has even happened. It opens with a driving riff that is loud, cheeky and deliberately over the top, setting up the expectation of a stunt going wrong or a dare going too far. As soon as it plays, viewers know to brace themselves, laugh in advance and expect chaos, which makes it a perfect audio cue for comedy edits where the joke lands before the action does.

Jackass began as an MTV television series in 2000, built around Johnny Knoxville and his cast performing outrageous stunts, pranks and daredevil challenges for the camera. The show later expanded into a series of hit films, and its brash opening music became shorthand for reckless comedy itself. Online, the short theme is now reused in short-form videos and edits whenever someone is about to attempt something foolish, keeping the franchise recognisable to new audiences long after its original run.
