Andrew Caldwell's viral “I'm not gay no more” line comes from a 2014 church testimony and punctuates reaction edits about dramatic reversals or denials.

This short voice clip captures Andrew Caldwell emphatically declaring, “I'm not gay no more,” during an emotional public testimony. His forceful delivery, repeated phrasing, and rising intensity give the audio an instantly dramatic and recognizable rhythm. Online, the line is often detached from its original serious context and used as a reaction meme for sudden reversals, exaggerated denials, or announcing that someone has abruptly abandoned a preference. The passionate delivery makes an ordinary change of mind feel like a major personal transformation, which gives edited videos an intentionally overblown comic effect.

The audio comes from a 2014 testimony by Andrew Caldwell at a Church of God in Christ gathering in St. Louis. Video of his passionate declaration circulated widely online, spawning remixes, reaction clips, parodies, and quoted variations. Its memorable repetition and unusually emphatic delivery helped the moment endure as a recognizable meme beyond the original event.
