關於此聲音

Short "I smell pennies" meme audio used in TikTok and reaction edits when something feels suspicious, bloody, metallic, or suddenly off.

This clip is a very short spoken line: “I smell pennies.” The delivery lands as oddly specific and unsettling, which is why it works so well as a meme reaction. People use it when a scene hints at blood, danger, a metallic smell, or a weird vibe that someone notices before anyone else does. Because the audio is under two seconds, it hits fast and leaves room for a hard cut, zoom, or caption. The result is a brief but memorable reaction sound that feels creepy, funny, and slightly absurd at the same time.

The exact original source of this clip is not clear from the available information, but it has circulated online as a short reaction sound in meme edits and TikTok-style videos. Its appeal comes from the phrase itself: smelling pennies suggests a metallic, uneasy warning that viewers instantly understand. Because it is so brief, creators reuse it in fast cuts, horror jokes, and suspicious reveal edits. It stays popular because it delivers a creepy reaction beat without needing any setup or long context.
