William Afton saying I always come back at earrape volume, the Five Nights at Freddy's line used for villain returns, jumpscares and meme edits.

This is William Afton delivering his signature line, I always come back, pushed to extreme earrape volume so the voice distorts and clips hard. The short clip starts with the calm menace of the phrase before the loudness takes over, turning a familiar villain quote into a sudden blast. That contrast is the point, making the return feel both threatening and absurdly funny. Viewers hear it as an instant jumpscare for the ears, a punchline for a character who refuses to stay gone, and a shock edit that breaks whatever quiet moment came before it.

The line belongs to William Afton, the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's games created by Scott Cawthon, a killer who keeps returning in new animatronic forms. It became his defining catchphrase among fans and was later delivered on screen in the 2023 Five Nights at Freddy's film. Online, players clipped and remixed the quote for edits and soundboards, with earrape versions exaggerating the volume for comic shock value. It stays popular because one short sentence instantly signals an unstoppable villain comeback.

Who says I always come back?

The line is spoken by William Afton, the central villain of Five Nights at Freddy's. Afton is known for surviving death and returning in different forms, so fans treat the quote as his personal promise that he can never be finished for good.

What does earrape mean in this version?

Earrape means the audio is deliberately boosted far beyond normal volume, causing distortion and clipping. In this clip the effect turns Afton's calm delivery into a loud blast, which is why creators use it as a sudden jumpscare or a comedy shock moment.

How do people use this sound in edits?

Creators place it at the exact moment a villain, boss or banned friend returns, usually after a brief pause or fake ending. The contrast between the quiet setup and the distorted line makes the comeback feel threatening, funny and impossible to ignore.
