The classic Hey, Vsauce, Michael here intro from Michael Stevens on YouTube, used by creators to open educational parodies, science explainers and meme edits.

This short clip is the instantly recognisable opening line from Vsauce, delivered in Michael Stevens's warm, upbeat presenter voice as he greets viewers and introduces himself. It is just a few words, spoken clearly and confidently, but the familiar cadence immediately signals that a curious question is about to be explored. For viewers who know the channel, it creates a feeling of friendly anticipation, like the start of a clever science lesson, and it makes even a silly edit feel smarter and more deliberate. That blend of familiarity, enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity is why the greeting works so well as a cold open.

Vsauce is an educational YouTube channel created by Michael Stevens, and Hey, Vsauce, Michael here became its signature opening, instantly identifying the presenter and the channel's curious, question-led style. As Vsauce grew into one of YouTube's best-known science and education channels, the greeting was clipped, remixed and parodied across TikTok, YouTube and meme edits, often to introduce a deliberately absurd or over-analysed question. It endures because it is short, instantly recognisable and carries the authority of a trusted explainer, even when the video that follows is purely for comedy.
